OMG OMG OMG RPI Men's Hockey Schedule Released!!!!

(what a crowd)

Today's the happiest day of my life!! RPI Athletics finally posted the men's hockey schedule so I can see how many in a row we'll lose this year. I think there's been a double digit losing streak every year I've been in Troy.

Let's see, here are the notable games:

Homecoming on 10/3 versus "Prince Edward Island." Aren't these games supposed to be tune-ups for the ECAC? Didn't we lose to a D3 school last year in this game? Isn't this still football season?

At UMass on 10/8. I'll be rooting for the Minutemen, thank you very much.

Wasting our athletic fund's money at a tournament in Alaksa, 10/16-10/17. But, we do get to play the Murderers' Row of Alaska-Anchorage AND Alaska-Fairbanks. Who the hell goes to those schools? Tripp Palin? Anything short of a sweep is embarassing.

Ooooh Black Friday versus Yale, 11/6, first ECAC game. Everyone wears black to try to scare the Ivy Leaguers, but that makes it hard to be visible crossing Burdett Avenue. Unless you're in LXA, then you can all elephant walk down to the fieldhouse. Oh wait, you guys don't pledge, never mind. I figured it out: Ski Lodge does the elephant walks, Delts throws their pledges down a hill, and Theta Chi loses to Zetes in football every year.

(scrolling down, trying to find it)

YES... FEBRUARY 20, 2010, VERSUS PRINCETON, THE BIG RED FREAKOUT. A/K/A TSUNAMI VI. Sludge is sober D.

Motion to Shirley Ann to make hockey D3 so Manory's can finally open that 50 year old time capsule that they sealed in the event of an NCAA title. I doubt a bunch of kids who aren't smart enough for the Ivies, not big enough for the CCHA, and not talented enough for the NHL are gonna bring home a ring in D1. This shit's chess, it ain't checkers. Till then, keep going through coaches like shit through a goose.
