Fleury Makes First Appearance in NHL Finals
Well I guess there wasn't a better time for Marc-Andre Fleury to show up than last night. He and the rest of the Pens showed they have the grit and the heart you need to win Lord Stanley's Cup. Rob Scuderi and Brooks Orpik, both had incredible games and were clearly giving up their bodies play after play to keep their team ahead. All hockey fans should rejoice that we will have a Game 7 now. Even people who aren't self-proclaimed hockey fans agree that hockey has the best Game 7's (I just asked the dude who sits across from me, there's your proof).
On a side note, let's all be thankful that with all the horrible decisions the NHL has done in the past for years with their relationship with the media and TV, they at least got it right and chose Doc Emerick (shown below, displaying his nasty hook) as their play by play man for the Finals. Doc was enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003, and is considered basically the Yoda of Hockey.
Quote of the Night:
"IT WILL TAKE SEVEN!!!" - Doc
